Magnets are scary...

Every day, I'm at the scene where I encounter many items,
and what always excites me when I see it is...
"Watches"
They always captivate my heart.
Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer, Breitling, and so on,
when I encounter a wonderful watch,
it makes my day happy.
However, this wonderful category of "watches"
has an enemy...
Today, I'd like to talk about that.
◆What is magnetism...?◆
Something indispensable in our lives:
"Home Appliances"
Many home appliances surround us.
Although they have almost no effect on the human body,
"magnetism" is generated,
which can affect watches.
*Magnetism is the source of magnetic force. It is also said to be a phenomenon related to the interaction between magnets or between a magnet and an electric current.
There are so many everyday items that emit magnetism,
such as smartphones and car remote starters.
What happens if you place them close to where you keep your watch?
"Their movement will become erratic."
◆Effects of Magnetism◆
Watches have many delicate and precise parts.
A watch affected by magnetism will experience "time discrepancies (running fast or slow)" or "stopping,"
deviating from its intended function.
Particular caution is needed for
"analog quartz watches" and "mechanical watches."
Analog quartz watches "contain a motor with magnetic properties,"
and mechanical watches "have many metal components."
On the other hand, "digital quartz watches"
are said to be unaffected because they do not use parts that are susceptible to magnetism.
If, due to a mistake in storage methods,
your watch is affected by magnetism...
It would be even more shocking if it happened to a watch you cherish...
What makes this even more troublesome is that it is
"invisible."
And of course, there's no smell either...
Therefore, daily awareness and attention are crucial.
If there are any home appliances nearby,
keep a distance of at least "10 centimeters or more" from your watch.
This distance is said to be largely unaffected.
I also strictly adhere to this.
And of course, I haven't experienced any malfunctions due to magnetism.
There are many "home appliances" around us.
While they are convenient,
such dangers are also close at hand.
