Pearl Anniversary and Mikimoto's Connection
It's mid-July, and the heat is really getting to us, isn't it? 🥵
As we head into the season of lighter clothing, we start craving accessories that make a statement.
Did you know that today, July 11th, is designated as "Pearl Anniversary"?
This is a story about pearls, which have a deep connection with products handled at ISEYA 🫧
The Great Achievement of MIKIMOTO's Founder
When you think of pearls, one of the first brands that comes to mind is MIKIMOTO.
Kokichi Mikimoto, the founder, was concerned that natural pearls were on the verge of extinction due to overfishing and other factors at the time. After extensive research, he succeeded in culturing hemispherical pearls for the first time in the world on July 11, 1893.
At the time, artificial cultivation was considered impossible, but through subsequent improvements,
he also succeeded in culturing spherical pearls, the image of what comes to mind when you hear "pearls," in 1905.

This is truly a great achievement, befitting the name "Pearl King" ✨
Pearls: Loved Across Generations
The elegant brilliance of pearls makes them suitable for a wide range of occasions, from formal ceremonies to casual outfits.
Recently, there have been more styling suggestions for men to incorporate pearls into rings and necklaces.
Adding a single pearl piece to a casual T-shirt is also incredibly cute!
Pearls possess a universal beauty loved across ages and genders,
and each one has a subtly different luster and color.
Please take a look at ISEYA's lineup, which includes various items from high-end brands such as Mikimoto, Tasaki, and Chanel!
