The allure of Celine
Hello everyone! This is Iseya.
Every time this popular brand arrives in our store,
not only customers but also staff can't help but say
"It's cute" or "It's wonderful."
"CELINE"
Its elegant and simple designs
are very popular, especially among women.
This time, I'd like to delve a little deeper into Celine.

~The Birth of CELINE~
Celine began in
1945.
It started when the founder, Celine Vipiana,
a woman, established a custom-made children's shoe store in Paris, France.
Its popularity spread from the upper class in France,
and it eventually rose to become a brand favored by celebrities.
~Decline~
Even the thriving Celine faced a dark shadow...
While it was doing well until the 1960s, Celine's brand image gradually
became out of sync with trends.
Losing momentum, Celine entered a long, dark tunnel.
In 1987, it came under the umbrella of Angache Company, which owns Dior,
and its financial situation recovered.
Later, in 1996, it left Angache Company and gradually began to see a path toward light.
~Encounter~
In 1996, it moved to "LVMH," which owns Louis Vuitton and other subsidiaries,
where it encountered Michael Kors.
He was appointed as a designer, and its popularity reignited,
especially among American career women.
Furthermore, in 2008, "Phoebe Philo," who had achieved great success at Chloé,
was appointed as creative director.
In 2011, she released the masterpiece "Luggage," which remains popular today.
It sparked a huge movement.

"Celine" truly embodies its concept of active women who are feminine yet independent.
Be sure to check out Celine!
